A Flavorful Triumph: Hahn’s Impactful Campaign for Texas Gulf Seafood


In the heart of Texas, where culinary traditions run deep, the Texas Department of Agriculture faced a delicious challenge: how to put Texas Gulf Seafood on everyone’s plate. The Hahn Data, Design and Delivery Teams, developed an integrated marketing campaign to build awareness and pride for Texas Gulf Seafood.

Hahn’s journey began with comprehensive research, culminating in a creative briefing presentation that guided our strategy. The team shared this, along with logo and brand concepts, setting the tone for traditional and digital ad development as well as website design. As a result, the print ads, featuring four seafood commodities, garnered more than 1,500 QR code scans, earning the following recognitions:

  • 2023 ADDY Award
  • 2023 Communicator Award of Excellence in the Campaign-Business-to-Consumer (Design & Print) category

Hahn’s digital campaigns across platforms like Stackadapt, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest generated over 4.2 million impressions and 55,000 clicks to txgulfseafood.com.

The creative team produced graphics, videos, recipes, and a seafood guide to showcase the best restaurants and retailers in the state serving Texas Gulf Seafood.

Hahn’s campaign fostered a shared identity and pride. It showcased the power of creative strategy and execution in driving awareness for a local treasure.
