Responsibilities
You will lead a team of PR and marketing professionals in a collaborative and inclusive agency environment. You will guide our energy clients and bring advanced account service, strategy, media pitching, writing, crisis communication, budgeting and management skills. You will demonstrate exacting attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines and evolving client needs. You will support the agency’s new business efforts. You are proactive, curious, open-minded and eager to help elevate our energy practice and our account service team.
Requirements
- Brings 10 to 15 years of marketing/communications/public relations agency experience with energy industry expertise in utilities and/or oil and gas.
- Has a Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, advertising, English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Creates work products by understanding macro-level energy issues and forces.
- Understands the technologies needed to serve clients best.
- Operates client teams and develops talent with clear appreciation for agency culture.
- Leverages the agency’s 3D capability to design, implement, and lead multiple complex campaigns.
- Independently manages client onboardings and program launches.
- Serves as a mentor and talent developer within and across teams.
- Anticipates and forecasts to guide work toward successful outcomes.
- Modifies processes to work smarter vs. harder.
- Communicates persuasively.
- Synthesizes complex information and implications.
- Leads multiple teams across accounts with exceptional performance.
- Possesses specialized skills, exceptional work ethic and attention to high quality work product.
- Provides expert counsel and guidance to staff and clients.
- Innovates by creating new products, offerings or introducing new processes.
- Contributes to the agency’s thought leadership and new business development.
- Cultivates a valuable professional network and brings new clients to the agency.
