Responsibilities

You will work alongside senior PR and marketing professionals in a collaborative and inclusive agency environment. You will have direct contact with clients and be involved in all day-to-day projects including account service, media pitching, writing for a variety of digital platforms, project management, etc. You will demonstrate exacting attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines and evolving client needs. You are proactive, curious, open-minded and eager to contribute to the account service team.

Requirements

  • Two to five years of marketing/communications/public relations agency experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, advertising, English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • A full and working knowledge of AP style and an ability to self-edit and proofread writing materials and detailed documents.
  • Experience drafting fact sheets, press releases, media alerts, social media content, blog articles, etc.
  • Exacting attention to detail and the ability to problem solve while keeping sight of immediate and pending deadlines.
  • Comfortable with all aspects of comprehensive communication plans (including story opportunities, pitching media, coordinating and preparing clients for briefings and conferences, etc.).
  • Experience using a variety of social media platforms and best practices for content and community management.
  • Experience monitoring for media and industry trends.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated campaign plans, including identifying KPIs (i.e., creative campaign management, paid media coordination, campaign/outreach measurement, experience with reporting tools such as Meltwater, etc.).
  • Understanding of strategy development.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and provide and receive constructive feedback.
  • Ability to multi-task on various assignments and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Managing client budgets and providing monthly reporting.
  • Ability to effectively engage, communicate and present in a hybrid/remote work environment.
